Several people have asked me, "what are the benefits of using Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) on your hair?" Well, the acetic acid in ACV will remove residue from product buildup, add shine and prevent split ends.  ACV is also a natural remedy for treating itchy scalp and dandruff.  Now the first time I did this rinse, the vinegar was a bit harsh for my skin and caused some irritation. To prevent skin irritation, consider adding more water to your rinse.

My choice of vinegar was Bragg’s because it’s 100% organic, raw and unfiltered. The next time I decided to do this rinse, I only used 1 ¼ tbsp of vinegar and I didn’t have any issues.  For some, the smell of ACV can be a bit much, but your “smell good” conditioner will overpower the strong scent.

I must say, I was very pleased with my results and hope that you will be too.  Don’t forget to comment and let me know how this DIY Hair Manna worked for you.
