I struggled trying to figure out what to write for this month’s blog.  I searched the web for different DIY hair conditioning ideas that I thought you all would want to try.  I couldn’t come up with anything, but as I pondered, it hit me… “HONEY!”  Add a little honey in your store bought conditioner.  Now, this isn’t uncommon but maybe you’ve never thought about trying it.  Honey is a humectant, meaning it attracts moisture, so it moisturizes your hair while leaving it soft and with a beautiful shine.    Feel free to add an oil of your choice, such as argan oil for extra conditioning.    I recommend using this process as a deep conditioner by leaving it on your hair for 15 - 30 minutes and rinsing with warm water.  Results “should” produce soft, shiny and moist hair.  Unfortunately, if your hair is already damaged, this DIY will not repair it overnight as I suspect no product will. There are no miracle growth oils, serums, creams, soufflés or grease of the sort to give you long and flowing hair in one day (chuckles).   So please, Be Patient with your hair.  Natural hair gents and relaxed ladies…this is for you too.  This DIY is recommended for all hair types.

Honeychild, I sure hope that you’ll give this a try.  As always, we welcome your feedback. You may leave your comments in the contact section.  Hope you like your results!
